Every year, around this time, we look forward to the start of school and getting ready for the Back-to-School activities and the first day of school. This year will be unlike any other school year; however, we are committed to being ready in spite of a worldwide pandemic! With feedback from parents and staff, as well as direction from the State of Texas, Texas Education Agency, and local officials and health authorities, the current plan for PBT-ISD is to reopen schools and activities for the 2020-2021 academic school year on August 17, 2020. Due to COVID-19, we will need to adjust to a new normal in order to ensure the safety of our students, staff, families, and our community.
PBT-ISD will offer families the choice of either face-to-face learning at school or remote learning at home. Please continue to read below for what each scenario entails so you can make the best choice for your family. If you plan to keep your student at home, you will need to complete the Remote Learning at Home registration form in addition to the regular school registration form opening up on Monday, August 3rd. We hope that the information below answers many of your questions and clarifies the choices that you will make for your student for the 2020-2021 school year. After reading the documents, please reach out to our team through our Just Ask feature on our website if you have more questions.
